Now Available In Digital Format for All Platforms

THE HERALD FOR JUNE 2020

We're back with another edition of  the fresh, new digital version of our historic publication, The Herald. Due to the required shutdown, we have transitioned to a digital format on this website. We will also be printing the articles in a simple, text-only format for the few unable to take advantage of the digital version. Once the restrictions on gathering end, we will maintain this fresh new digital version, while also resuming an attractive print version available at the usual locations on our main campus. The digital version is optimized for all platforms, whether you are viewing on a computer, tablet, or phone.

Cancellations and Postponements

All Sunday morning activities, including worship services, and all events at First United Methodist Church of Peoria, continue to be canceled until restrictions have been lifted. We invite you to join us here on our website, or on Facebook Live for a special online broadcast of our worship services. Watch this spot for details on when we will be able to reinstate our normal calendar of activities.

Responding to COVID-19

Get Help

We've had to severely modify the way we do benevolence ministries here due to the Coronavirus threat. If you are in need of help at this time, we recommend you call 211, or go to their website by clicking below. Assistance may be available.

Giving

Though we are not able to meet publicly at this time, our expenses continue. If you are able to give, your offerings assure that our work for Jesus will continue strong long after the present day threat has passed.

Winter Harvest

Please do not bring your Winter Harvest offerings to the church during this time of social distancing. We will collect these after we are given the all-clear to return to public meetings. In the meantime, keep collecting those coins!

Stay In Touch

Our monthly publication, The Herald, is available as a pdf download by clicking below. You'll be updated on where things stand with our ministry work, plus you'll receive encouragement and hope from our pastors. CHANGE the way you face your CHALLENGES

We're pleased to tell you that Greg Fish's new book is being released earlier than expected due to the power of the message for the time that we are in. Beginning May 24, we will start a new sermon series that will loosely follow the book. A few Sunday School classes and small groups will be following this series as well. You may purchase an advance pdf version of the book now at www.gregfish.me for just $5. Due to the early release, there will be a slight delay before print copies are available. If you cannot afford the pdf, use the contact form on Greg's site to request a free copy.
